like the sails of a mighty ship –
for it is time to speak your truth.
Rise up, now, and know your own strength.
The time of lying still in the harbor is coming to an end.
The time for gentle sighing is past.
The time for silent witness to the ravages of mankind is over.
It is time to rise up and be heard.
It is time to change the destiny of the world.
It is time to go forth in all your power and say, No More!
We have laid low for too long.
We have allowed others to take the wind from our sails.
We have let the barbarians chart the course, but they have gone astray.
They have plundered and pillaged, looted and desecrated –
for their own gain they destroy the land and the sea.
It is time to rise up, mother, sister, lover, daughter, and say THIS. MUST. STOP.
It is time to do more than sound the mournful horn and quietly weep….
Breathe deep, Spiritual Warriors, breathe in the immense power of woman –
Breathe deep and fill the light sails with all your energy
for it is time to take back the seas, and reclaim the land.
